Oh geez, I have been listening to this man since I came across his song “Latch” Monday afternoon. Now, I just have another song to swoon over and it’s just as good! Sam Smith, oh please won’t you put out more music for me? For us?
A Collection Part 36
Without even noticing, every “A Collection” post has some sort of a theme. I always enjoy going back and looking at the different sets asking myself what the common theme was. What was I feeling that day? Why did I select this photo, that photo, and this series of photos? I started writing this about a fourth into completing this post and I noticed that all of the photographs are pretty simplistic, but also muted. There are times when I won’t remember why there is a theme, but I think this completely embodies how I’m feeling right now. Somewhat muted, but it’s a refreshing time right now because there is so much that is unknown. Also – Seattle has the hottest weather in all of the country right now, which is incredible and NEVER happens. Funny, because you would think that these photos would be much brighter to resemble that, but they are not. Surprise!

Macklemore Doesn’t Want OKC Thunder Playing His Music
I was chatting with Kevin the other day about feuds in music when I was thinking out loud about how Macklemore doesn’t have any beef yet! Now, I wouldn’t wish that upon anyone, but it’s not uncommon for it to happen especially in the hip hop industry. That conversation came up just two days ago – now lo-and behold – it turns how that Macklemore does have beef…with the Oklahoma City Thunder!
The artist was not too happy when he heard that the team was playing his song “Can’t Hold Us Down” to pump up the fans in their arena and who can blame them? That is OUR team after all!
Yeah, we’re still bitter I guess. But how can you not be when someone takes away your team?!

Christina Aguilera Returns To The Voice For $17 Million
Ugh say it isn’t so!
Am I the only one who thought The Voice was so much better this season without her and Cee Lo. Shakira and Usher have done such a great job as coaches and with them alongside Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, the show has had more of a focus on talent and not just there being a spectacle all the time with Cee Lo’s cat and Christina’s inappropriate outfits. Seriously, who is doing her wardrobe? I’m disappointed in this decision, but what can you do?
