Boy Bands Love The 90s

I am a proud 90s kid and I sincerely believe that some who weren’t even born in the 90s kind of wish they were. I have some bizarre news to announce today – strange enough that I had to do a double take, repeat it out loud to myself, and then tell Kevin who was sitting right next to me. It seems like right now boy bands like The Wanted or One Direction are kind of hot ish – but you know? I’m not really buying it. They look like small children to me – especially YOU Harry Styles. How you end up getting so much play, I will never understand!

Well I think this attention is getting to some of the more original boy bands so they’ve decided to come back. (Seriously, 2013 really is the year of the comeback) New Kids on the Block, 98 Degrees, AND Boyz II Men will be going on tour this year. TOGETHER. Have you ever heard of such a thing?! I’m going to end this post with one last thing.

Your favorite boy bands on tour

Rumor has it that the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block will be collaborating on a tour set for 2011. The two bands are on the brink of closing their deal with Live Nation and could begin their travels as early as March of 2011.

“The idea is to recreate the boy band phenomenon,” says the source. “It will be the ultimate ladies’ night out.”

If I were a guy at this concert, I would  definitely feel a little embarrassed to be seen.

Now all they need is to get N’Sync to jump on the band wagon.
