Graffiti artist, Tilt, has recently created a masterpiece out of a French hotel room. One half of the room is completely done in graffiti and it looks AMAZING. I can’t even begin to imagine the patience and time it took to get this right. This piece of interior design along with five other pieces can be found at the Au Vieux Panier hotel in Marseille, France.

Fashion Week (or as like to call it – Fashion Month) is about to become much more pretentious than ever before. Fashion Month works because none of them overlap. First comes New York, then comes London. After that, we have Milan and Paris is last. Turns out, Milan is not happy with that arrangement.
Milan has reportedly decided to place their Fashion Week in dates that would conflict with both New York and London’s fashion weeks, which is going to send every fashion magazine into a frenzy. Milan is essentially giving them an ultimatum and trying to prove who is most powerful out of the fashion capitals.
Who will rise to the top? Only time will tell.

Looks like we won’t be seeing John Galliano around for awhile! The former designer behind Dior has been found guilty of making anti-Semitic and racist comments in Paris on not one – but two occasions. Galliano will be fined 6,000 Euros and will be on probation for the next five years under French terms.
After the hearing Galliano’s lawyer called the ruling a “wise decision” and said Galliano is now “very relieved.”

In a world where CDs are no longer as useful as they once were, artist Elise Morin and architect Clémence Eliard were able to turn something so outdated into a beautiful piece at the Centquatre Museum in Paris. 65,000 CDs were used to create this work of art covering 500-square-meters as a part of the “Wastelandscape” installation.

I’ve always been curious about what it would be like to date someone who was a male model. Other than their initial good looks, the first time you lay eyes on them may be when they have their stone cold faces up on the runway or in the magazines. Rarely, do we ever get to see the true personality of a model…that is until now. During Spring 2012 Fashion Week, Justin Wu filmed all of these beautiful modeling men dancing around to “A Little Less Conversation” in Paris and Milan.
How cute – wish I could join?
So it has been three months since my last “A Collection” post…These are my favorite posts and while they take forever to make, I honestly believe that the more time that goes by, the better these posts turn out to be. I made a promise to Veronica that I would have finished it three weeks ago and here it is. Better late than never.
This collection was created with the theme of being selfless. I never make up these themes beforehand. It is only when I can look through it as a whole that I begin to notice these patterns that arise out of the photographs. I am talking about the Japan Relief and TOMS’ One Day Without Shoes. Sometimes, giving back feels so much larger than us that we are overwhelmed by it, but there are much smaller ways to contribute. You can give back to the people you already know in even the simplest ways.

Instead of leaving potholes to be the eyesore and burden that they are for everyone, Parisian artist Juliana Santacruz Herrera has decided to fill various potholes in Paris with beautifully colored yarn. It was just her little way of giving the locals a more pleasant stroll, but at the same time it is such a quirky piece of street art.
