A Floating Cinema in Paris

It’s going to be some time before life returns to normal. However, I’m loving how other cities and countries are taking this opportunity to be especially creative. Instead of your standard drive-in movie theater, Paris is upping the game by doing a floating cinema where movie goers watch films from boats. This is just a digital rendition of what this could look like, but you get the idea! From now until August 30th, you can experience this new movie viewing format. If interested, individuals can enter to be in a drawing to be selected for a boat or a deck chair socially distanced.

Wedding Mondays

As much as I love my Weddings and my Wedding Mondays, there are still moments that I can catch that don’t feel genuine to me. Yes, I am a girl that loves watching The Bachelor and The Bachelorette and was I flipping between Catherine and Sean’s 2-hour wedding special last night along with the Grammys? I SURE was. The wedding ceremony itself was probably 30 minutes. While I love the two of them together, I couldn’t help but think to myself while watching that I will never televise my wedding.  It’s unlikely that I’ll become a public figure before I get married, but even still – why would anyone choose that route?

Then I started thinking big picture… is this what I am doing when I showcase people’s wedding videos on Wedding Mondays? I thought that for a second until I realized that there are so many details in these videos that get left out and therefore my decision for the series is completely justified. I didn’t need to see Sean buying lingerie for Catherine and I didn’t need to know that Catherine was gifting him with a sexy photo shoot with photos that he could keep. Blagh.

With that said, can we just get on with this? This wedding video of Julie and Eric in Paris is pretty sweet. The whole wedding itself oozes with romanticism and glamour and while it’s not always the route I would take with my own personal wedding, there is such a level of appreciation for the whole thing.

Style Me Pretty divided the coverage of the wedding into two posts: here and here!

Wedding Mondays

No, I haven’t forgotten that today is Monday and that there is supposed to be a wedding video. There’s no way that Jennie and Ashley would ever let me get away with that and I know so because Jennie snapchatted me that she was watching wedding videos and Ashley posted on my Facebook wall as a reminder. Every Monday, I am thinking about these two and when I select videos for this feature I’m keeping them in mind. Girls – you won’t be disappointed with this one. It brings me to near tears every time (but seriously, what wedding video doesn’t anymore?)

Every time I hear this song, I associate it to one of those Twilight movies which makes me not enjoy it, but Twilight aside – it’s a very sweet and romantic song and perfect for this couple’s story and wedding in Paris. Jenny wears two dresses in this video if I’m correct or one dress might just have a top overlay, but regardless – she styled it amazingly.

And here’s the accompanying post from Style Me Pretty!

Happy Monday morning everyone and a very happy morning to my girls Ashley and Jennie!

I’m sharing with you all a video today that I think you’re going to absolutely love. I don’t think I could ever elope, myself, but when I watch videos like this, I think it could very well be a possibility. Enjoy this sweet Parisian getaway and furthermore here’s the wedding featured on Style Me Pretty!
