Troian Bellisario and Patrick J Adams Are Engaged!

People Magazine is reporting today that Pretty Little Liars’ actress Troian Bellisario and Suits’ actor Patrick J. Adams are engaged! The two have been in Paris together while Adams has been filming “Rosemary’s Baby.” I’d say before this whole Adam Brody and Leighton Meester thing came along, they were my favorite couple from an opposite television series.  The two have been dating for three years so congrats to the happy couple! As much as I think it’s great for celebrity couples to be in secret, I also really enjoy the way that they have held their relationship. It’s really cute to follow both of their Instagram accounts and to see the kinds of adventures they have together.

If You’re Going To Take A Selfie…

The other day I wrote a post about how selfies on Facebook/Instagram were overrated. That’s just putting it nicely. I didn’t say they were overrated, I actually questioned why selfies were being taken at all in the first place. Coincidentally, People Magazine just wrote a post about the ten ways you can take a selfie beautifully and I have to say that after reading this article, I might be changing my tune.

Example A. Miranda Kerr. Selfies are done best when they don’t really look like a selfie because of the outstretched arms. That’s not a comment by People Magazine – just a comment by me.

On a scale of 1-10, how photoshopped is this cover? Sean is the epitome of a “Ken” doll and Catherine does not look anything like Catherine. Aside from the cover, the best quote from this cover story is:

Natalie Portman: Engaged and Preggers

Natalie Portman has been amidst all sorts of buzz lately after her performance in the Oscar-nominated film Black Swan. Now, People Magazine has reported that the actress is engaged to her boyfriend of one year, Benjamin Millepied and that the couple are expecting. Millepied was the choreographer for Black Swan – pictured above far left. These two are going to have one beautiful child.

Single -> In a Relationship -> It’s complicated -> Single

It was just a couple weeks ago that Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston announced their engagement publicly in US Magazine. Now, Bristol has gone off running to People Magazine to say that they have broken up. Something tells me that she’s spilling her news to the press before telling her friends and family.

There are too many laughable items on this cover.

a) The picture. Lawls.

b) “I Hope My Mom Will Accept Us.” Really?

c) How’s that acting career Bristol?

It’s on. It’s off. I don’t want to see another cover of them on it in two weeks with “I’m Pregnant…Again!” splashed across. It’s the real life version of “The girl who cried attention.” My friends have told me in the past that you don’t typically announce your relationship status unless you know it’s for sure. No one wants their short-lived romance spread across news feeds.

…or do they?

– The movie, The Hobbit will be released in December 2013. It has been pushed back two years from its original date of December 2011. Bummer.

– Eva Longoria has launched a new perfume called “Eva” by Eva Longoria. Very original.

– Ricky Gervais will host next year’s Golden Globes.

– Apparently, Lady Gaga has recently been living off of baby food. This may be the cause for her extreme weight loss.

Sandra Bullock has officially filed for divorce from Jesse James and meanwhile adopted her son 3 and 1/2 month old Louis Bardo Bullock. This was something that she was planning on keeping very quiet until after the Oscars.

– Farrar, Straus and Giroux will release a private collection of writing pieces from Marilyn Monroe which include  poems, correspondence, rare photos, as well as reproductions of documents handwritten by the blond bombshell herself. Source

– The hit movie “How to Train a Dragon” will be getting a sequel in the second half of 2013

– Julia Roberts is the most beautiful person in the world voted by People Magazine. She’s already been on four of these covers and on this list 12 times.

– Lindsay Lohan’s father started a nasty tweet rumor saying that she was HIV positive. Father of the year everyone. We are… not sure if this is true?

Last night, at my very own birthday party I turned to one of my friends and said, “It’s like I know you’re here, but I can’t even really see you.”
