I can’t exactly explain why Adam Brody is my dream crush. I mean I could try to explain, but I’m not sure if it would make sense to anyone. Adam Brody as Seth Cohen was a freakin’ dreamboat. He loved Death Cab For Cutie. Hello – Death Cab For Cutie is like the anthem band for any Seattle resident. Seth Cohen was all into his comic books. I knew my X-Men characters. His hobbies included skateboarding, boating, and being stealth. I’m not into any one of those things, but I can learn to appreciate it.

If Adam Brody would reprise his role as Seth Cohen in his own series, I would watch it. It has been five years, but his appeal has not faltered one bit.

Before the Manic Pixie Indie Dream Girl phase happened, every girl aspired to be the free-spirited woman. Our icons included Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Kate Hudson. They were charming, funny, sweet, young, and coincidentally all blonde. I’ve watched my fair share of movies growing up and while I loved the 90′s romantic comedies taking place in high school, I liked to pretend that I actually knew all that was going on in movies like There’s Something About Mary or Charlie’s Angels. I was age eight and ten, respectively, when those movies came out.

Cameron Diaz is just that actress that remains to be unforgettable despite not always being in the spotlight. I absolutely love this shot of her on the new cover for InStyle. The editorial isn’t my favorite, but you can peep  the rest of the images here!

I would like to extend a huge congratulations to The Buried Life boys for the release of their new book, What Do You Want To Do Before You Die? – a question heard around the world after being introduced on their MTV series. I watched these guys yesterday on The Today Show and have read a number of articles and countless blog posts about them within the past couple of days. It’s incredibly cool to see them check off yet another list item.
