Roshambo: Paper-Scissors

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJ2F7eptn_A#at=373]

At the beginning of this year, Free People launched a compelling love story three-part series called Roshambo featuring our favorite Girls’ character “Charlie” played by Christopher Abbott. We watched the two develop a relationship in Brooklyn, Rio, and now the most romantic city in the world – Paris. In the final installment, we are given a conclusion, but it’s not like we ever intended to say goodbye anyways. I mean – when are we ever gonna see Christopher Abbott again?!  Sheila’s entire look can be found here provided by Free People.

Free People Presents Roshambo: Rock

[youtube=http://youtu.be/j5ebVlt5XTQ]

I am such a sucker for love story webisodes. We all remember my obsession with Casual: The Series, don’t we? Of course we do. Well this is the second installment from Free People’s “Roshambo” series that we were first introduced to back in January. In this video, we are taken back to a time before Sheila and Chris reunite on the streets of New York and are shown how Sheila copes with her breakup with Chris. A trip to Rio with her best friends? Can’t get any better than that. I am so excited about this series because even without a lot of dialogue Sheila’s feelings are relatable. It’s a beautiful series altogether, but there needs to be more Chris Abbott, please.

Free People Goes Artsy

[vimeo http://vimeo.com/58375780]

I was unaware that Free People was making short films until now. This one called “Roshambo” also known as “Rock Paper Scissors,” stars one of my favorite characters in “Girls.” Oh yes, the darling and sweet Charlie. Marnie, you messed up. In this love story, “Charlie” is played by actor Christopher Abbott and he’s very much the romantic like his character in Girls except maybe a little harrier.

The short film highlights some pretty spectacular outfits, but also a pretty little love story in the process. The scenes are kind of out of sync, but I guess that’s the fun part because you get to decide if there are a series of flashbacks or a story of one’s relationship as a whole.
