There has been so much buzz surrounding Pretty Little Liars lately that I wanted to continue on with that because like everyone else, I am addicted to this show. One of my favorite aspects of the show happens to be the music featured. Whoever has been compiling these songs together has been doing a fantastic job! It is honestly one of the best that I have seen since The OC.
Today, I wanted to focus on The Pierces because they’ve actually been doing so much and the television series has played a large part in that especially since they are responsible for that catchy opening theme “Secret.”
In celebration of the release of their latest EP, Love You More, via iTunes, NY based sister act The Pierces will kick off four US performances starting tomorrow, January 13th.
They will first headline New York’s Mercury Lounge (tickets still available) before hitting Los Angeles for a trio of shows, opening for UK tour mate Lissie on January 15th at The Music Box and then joining Great Northern at KCRW’s It’s a School Night at Bardot on the 17th (FREE w/RSVP). It all culminates with a headlining show at The Hotel Cafe on the 18th. Get your tickets HERE.
The Pierces’ forthcoming full length, You & I, which features Albert Hammond Jr (The Strokes), veteran pedal steel guitarist BJ Cole and an all star contribution on drums: Will Champion (Coldplay), Glenn Moule (Howling Bells) and Matt Romano (Little Joy), will be released later in 2011.
