Lucky for you the Mobile Food Rodeo is happening on Saturday in South Lake Union.
It’s free. There will be 45 food trucks. Eat from 12-7PM.

I have never heard of such a thing…until now. South Lake Union will be opening up a new hipster cooking school originally based in Los Angeles this month. Hipcooks – according to their description is “a Los Angeles-based cooking school that feeds the minds, imaginations and tummies of hip Angelinos. Hipster pupils are taught how to impress future guests with dinner party techniques.”
I’m confused. What exactly will students be learning to cook? What makes one dish more hipster than any other dish?
The website itself doesn’t even look that hipster. I was hoping to find recipes or lessons involving pbr and artison yogurt. Nada.

The company Jones Soda will be hosting FREE SODA FRIDAY on July 10th, 2009 at their headquarters.
