When I first read this poster, I thought this said “Barf Fest.” Lol. Spokane is getting their first music festival and you know what? The lineup ain’t bad! Their local acts are amazing – Pickwick, Beat Connection, La Luz. Whoever is running ship on this festival did a wonderful job for a first lineup. This couldn’t have been easy. Enjoy Spokane! This sounds like fun!

At 1:30 AM right now, I’m assuming most of you are in bed and asleep – but I wanted to give you all something to wake up to!
I just found this street musician covering OneRepublic’s “Secrets” in Spokane, WA via Colossal and I was glued to it for the entire duration. Apparently, Bryson Andres is kind of a big deal in the area! I hope some success comes his way real soon!
On the first day of school, a Shadle Park High School teacher handed out lyrics to his students from the Blue Scholars song “Commencement Day.” The Blue Scholars are a widely known hip hop group based out of Seattle and recently performed at this summer’s Capitol Hill Block Party. The teacher has since been put on leave and school authorities are investigating the situation further.
