Girl Walk // All Day

Despite the fact that I know I am severely suffering in one of my classes, the sunny Seattle day and weekend to come can’t really bring me down. Luckily for me, there are still four more weeks in class, but I don’t want to think about it until Sunday.

I recently stumbled upon this fantastic video called “Girl Walk // All Day.” It is nothing like Jessica’s Affirmations, but it will still make you feel pretty great after watching it. The video starts off with a girl in an 80’s sweater dancing on the Staten Island Ferry. Her moves are sick. Her enthusiasm is inspiring. Girl Talk is blaring through the speakers of the ferry and onlookers are clueless and confused, but yet nothing can get this girl to stop dancing. There are also two men featured in the video as well. Some may say it is embarrassing, but is it? I mean, really, what is stopping us from doing the same thing in a public place? It’s not like you’re ever going to see those people again and even if you did, so what? You had a great time doing it. I actually performed our dance routine with my group of friends on a ferry last year to no music, but the other guests on the ferry with us loved it!

MTV Pulls Plug on “Bridge and Tunnel” Reality Show

There can only be one Jersey Shore type show on the MTV Networks. MTV was trying to make “Bridge and Tunnel” happen, but the reality show about young people from New York’s Staten Island was way too similar to the original HBIC Jersey Shore. Production started three months ago, but it was only just a couple weeks ago that it was put on hold. The show reportedly was supposed to be on air by this month, but it looks like the show has been cut entirely.
