I love that they can have a sense of humor about this.

What a gorgeous spread! Seeing this reminds me that Revenge is overdue for another new episode. ABC, can you…get on our level? I’m ready to see Emily’s next takedown.

Taylor Swift in Maria Lucia Hohan
The girl certainly knows what works. She generally is drawn towards similar gowns that are flowy and neutral colored for most award shows, but it always seems to work!
Ron Burgundy dropped by Conan to release some news today…!
Excited to say the least.

I would like to extend a huge congratulations to The Buried Life boys for the release of their new book, What Do You Want To Do Before You Die? – a question heard around the world after being introduced on their MTV series. I watched these guys yesterday on The Today Show and have read a number of articles and countless blog posts about them within the past couple of days. It’s incredibly cool to see them check off yet another list item.
While I was in San Francisco, I also had the chance to catch up on a few of their recent promo videos for the book as well. Here’s one below featuring Ben Nemtin.
Check out the rest of their videos on their channel.

In the Pretty Little Liars mid-season finale airing tonight, the identity of “A” will be revealed!
It has been a long time coming and there are many more characters than when we started this show, but which one of them is cunning enough to have two secrets lives – and one that includes continuously torturing our girls?

Mona Vanderwall
I automatically want to assume it is her because she’s actually “A” in the books, but there’s something about her character on the show that I just can’t pinpoint exactly. It might be because I don’t want her to be “A.” Mona suffered from the wrath of Alison pretty badly so she has her motives for wanting to get back at the girls, but in recent episodes her vulnerability has made her out to be a likable character. However, if she is “A,” it would make sense for her to try and get closer to the girls by penning herself as a victim too.
I feel like such a little nerd for saying this, but I have been waiting for this song to be released ever since I heard it on the Smash promos. I don’t watch Smash, but I do find this song to be pretty catch. “Touch Me” was co-penned by Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic) and Bonnie McKee who is notoriously known for writing a handful of Katy Perry’s songs.

Since I missed the premiere of The Fashion Star earlier this week, I decided to spend my St. Patrick’s Day night in watching the rerun. I generally don’t like to adopt new shows in the middle of a season especially since I’ve got a full lineup already, but c’mon, it’s Nicole Richie! I also wasn’t sure if NBC could bring back another fashion series to their network after parting with Project Runway, but The Fashion Star definitely has a fighting chance.

How the show works:
Aspiring fashion designers compete weekly to produce one featured item in three different looks. They are mentored by Jessica Simpson, John Varvatos, and Nicole Richie, but at the end of the day it is up to the three buyers from Macy’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, and H&M to decide what is wearable for consumers. If the buyers decide to make an offer on a designer’s item, they will then make it available for sale that same night after the show airs. It’s actually a pretty cool concept and interesting to hear the insight from the buyers on trying to make an item marketable. When contestants don’t receive an offer, they are at risk of being eliminated and out of the running for the grand prize.
Every season, I love seeing the different runway looks, but I understand that what’s on the runway for the most part is a trend and will be filtered down to become more wearable for retailers. *Remember that scene from The Devil Wears Prada when Miranda schools Andy on her ordinary blue sweater? It’s incredibly refreshing to see a look that is bypassing all of the bells and whistles and being much more straight to the point. I think I’m also becoming a fast fan of the show because it is very business-minded and hello! we’ve got two Seattle contestants!
Lisa Vian Hunter and Lizzie Parker – we’re rooting for you!
I actually would have watched that.

Currently, the SOAPNet provides me with episodes of The OC, One Tree Hill, Brothers and Sisters, and the occasional Gilmore Girls. That is simply more than enough for me. In fact, I could watch television for an entire day if those shows were on. But I wouldn’t do that…because life, you know?
Well, I just found out today that I will apparently be spending more time on SOAPNet when they add old episodes of Veronica Mars to their lineup. It’s like…they knew exactly what I wanted.

Ashley Judd lost her son again? It’s like Double Jeopardy all over again…but in a television series.
