I first heard this song on Holiday Matinee’s December mix tape and have loved it ever since. On Valentine’s Day, Tennis will be releasing their new album!

Holiday Matinee’s December Mix Tape

Every month I am always looking forward to Holiday Matinee’s monthly mix tapes! It’s actually a pleasant surprise because even though I know the mix tape is coming, I’m never sure when it will be posted and that’s really exciting for me because they make the best mixes. This month’s tape includes a recent track by Tennis, a Phoenix cover of 1901 by Birdy and that Phantom Planet Christmas jingle below! Listen to the rest of it here. I’m sure it will be the perfect soundtrack to whatever you’re doing this late/or this morning (depending on when you read this post) because I’ve already gone through it at least six times without thinking about touching my Spotify!

Out on the Town: 12/14
Husband-wife duo Patrick Riley and Alaina Moore, of Tennis, will be performing at the Crocodile this evening for a 21+ show with tickets going for $12. The show starts at 8PM and they will be performing with Miniature Tigers and Devon Williams. I was so excited to finally catch this band at Bumbershoot this past year so if you have the chance to go see them, I highly recommend doing so.
