The Client List – Review

Last night, Lifetime premiered the new Jennifer Love Hewitt movie, “The Client List.” The premiere gathered about 3.9 million viewers! I’m not all that surprised considering how much hype was going around the movie. It was well-publicized to the point that I almost felt it didn’t even need to be on Lifetime let alone a Lifetime Original. I don’t think it was a good enough film to be shown in theaters, however.

Samantha Horton, an ex-beauty pageant queen married to her high school sweetheart quarterback, has three children and no income coming in. The couple are on the brink of foreclosure and struggling to find ways to make ends meet. With her husband recovering from a previous injury, Samantha Horton feels the pressure on her shoulders to support her family and put meals on the table. Sam has hope that her previous skills from being a physical therapist will be put to good use at the Kind Touch massage parlor, but she is caught off guard when she realizes that her clients expect more than just a good rub down.
