Rockin’ Romance 2

Local record label, Destiny Worldwide, recently informed me that they were releasing their new album Rockin’ Romance 2 – a compilation of your favorite love songs with an alternative twist. I had never heard the first Rockin’ Romance album, so the people over at Destiny Worldwide were so kind and sent me over a copy! Some of my favorite love songs made the cut including “She Will Be Loved,” originally by Maroon 5, “With You” by Jessica Simpson and “1000 Miles” by Vanessa Carlton just to name a few. Who are some of the special bands performing these covers? My friends of The Scene Aesthetic, The Real You, Daphne Loves Derby, and New Heights – all of Seattle’s finest!

Cause I’m running in circles searching the world for you

Last night was literally a blast from the past. I would like to extend a big thank you to The Real You for allowing me to take pictures and giving me the opportunity that I haven’t had in a long time. I took out my camera for the night. You know… that one that I’ve been using a lot lately.

I haven’t shot live photos with this camera since I was sixteen and back then I was very in your face and I found myself last night being a little bit reserved almost intimidated when I shouldn’t have been. Anyways, here are some of my favorites. I’ve forgotten how to edit them the way I used to so all 8 are edited in different ways.

The Real You

Seattle U students, this Saturday, the bistro will be hosting the band The Real You for a special performance right on campus. If you’re not going anywhere and there isn’t a party going on, I suggest you check them out. These guys are originally from California I think but they relocated to Seattle about 3 years ago or so. Since then, I have watched them grow within the Seattle music scene immensely and perform at various venues all around town. These guys are really great!
