7 Months From Now…

It has been years since I’ve gone to a concert that was such a huge production, but I was going to go the distance for Ariana Grande! I went as far as downloading some random app called “Fahlo,” and becoming a member of her fan club in order to buy presale tickets for a concert that won’t even happy until April. Additionally, because I was purchasing through presale, I had to pay an additional fee that gained me points on “Fahlo” – an app that I don’t care about at all. An additional $25! WHAT.

It’s worth it, I think. I have decent seats and I’m not going to be on the floor, which means that my vision of the stage isn’t going to suck that badly. I am so excited. ARIANA GRANDE LATTE!

Cover of the Day

So it’s not the full cover of Ariana Grande’s “The Way,” but we’re okay with this! Tiffany, who is a member of Girls Generation, stripped down the popular song recently on a South Korean reality show called “Fashion King Korea.”

The best part of this video is seeing everyone’s facial expressions back at Tiffany and the random twinkly sounds. Magical.

Ariana Grande – Yours Truly

I usually feel a little guilty listening to albums before they are released, but in this case – we all know that I’ve been waiting for this album by Ariana Grande for a long time! I couldn’t wait for it to be released so … naturally it’s been on repeat all day long.

Ariana made her debut on Nickelodeon’s television series “Victorious” playing the bubbly character “Cat,” but it wasn’t long before we discovered that she could not only act, but could sing incredibly. Her voice has been compared to Mariah Carey and this summer she’s had a couple hits on the radio including “The Way” and “Baby I.”

Victoria Justice Releases Music Video for “Gold”

Victoria Justice released her music video for her single “Gold” and while it is endearing and adorable, it’s definitely not as saucy as Ariana Grande’s for “The Way.” While the two both starred on Victorious together, it seems like they have both decided to pursue musical careers and Ariana seems to be winning. While Victoria is getting her single played on Radio Disney, Ariana is slaying the music charts. It will be interesting to see what happens to the both of them with their next move and their second single. I’m “betting my money” on Ariana.

I’ve actually been listening to this song every day for a week because I have loved it so much. Yesterday the song was released a day early and shot straight to number 1 on iTunes and at this rate, it is sure to become a summer hit. Ariana is such a young and talented singer and this is a fantastic start to her singing career.
