When I am on Pinterest, some of my favorite things to pin are little quotes that I find matched up with awesome print designs like this one above. They can all be found on my Truth and Words board. Last night, I stumbled upon this great site called Recite This in which you can do the same thing with quotes that you pick yourself! While at dinner last night, Stephanie said the above and I thought to myself, this would look pretty great as a print…better turn it into one.
Have fun with the site you guys! I know I”ll be keeping it around in my back pocket for other moments in the future.
I have been finding so many interesting things on the internet recently that I pretty much want to blog everything! I’d do that, but then you’d get 20 posts in one day and who has time for that? Very rarely has anyone watched me actually blog and even then I think it’s such a weird process. Maybe we can include that on the video blogs someday, Veronica? Anyways, today we’re already at 10 posts and I must confess to you all, I’ve got some blog projects I need to hit tonight! [More on that later] So laziness is about to occur and you’re gonna get a roundup of some of the best things that I came across on the internet today in one post!
4. Want to know all of the songs that Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake are rapping in their “History of Raps?” SPIN has got you covered. I am adding these to my Spotify playlists as we speak.
5. Mariners’ game attendees this season are going to dine well. [Source]
6. I took the Bring It On quiz and scored 10/12. Not bad!
Until I got my iPhone back in September, I was completely cut off from Instagram. Unfortunately, they just don’t make it compatible for Blackberrys. However, I will say that Instagram was the first app I downloaded and it was a pretty great decision from the start. I was the type of girl that carried my little Sony digital camera with me everywhere, but sometimes when your phone does the exact same thing, it’s easier to be carrying one less item in my small purse. I love the filters – Valencia, Nashville, Earlybird – the whole gang. So when I came across this Instagram infographic today, I figured I had to share it with all of you!
The Urban Outfitters blog introduced me to a fetching new Tumblr yesterday called Pretty Little Liars Annotations and if you’re an avid fan like myself, then you will find every little bit of this humorous. I just went through 7 pages without even blinking and couldn’t explain to Kevin why I was snickering. He wouldn’t find it funny.
As a kid, I used to love coming home to Total Request Live after school. No joke – I even voted for my favorite songs every now and then. 98 Degrees’ “I Do (Cherish You)” – how can you not want that to be at the top of the countdown? And if it wasn’t number one consistently, it was life-shattering. Just kidding, no it wasn’t, but at that age your feelings for all things that shouldn’t really matter in life somehow are priority.
TRL was a great program that embodied some of my favorite things – music and to be exact – mainstream music, Suchin Pak with the daily news, DJs like Damien Fahey and Hilarie Burton, and of course celebrity guests. Today BuzzFeed reminded us that even though TRL was cancelled long ago, there will forever be proof that it existed in the form of the show’s photo booth evidence.
I’ve been a fan of Shipley & Halmos from the very start. No, they don’t make women’s clothing, but their menswear is the kind of stuff I want my future guy to wear! Well, their tech team did a major rework on their website today and it is pretty spectacular. The reason I’m sharing it with you is because the new website is more than just retail. It’s actually kind of men’s blog in itself! So male readers of Yow Yow…get up on it!
With spring break just around the corner, I’ve been thinking a lot lately about getaways. I’ve never been much of a camper myself, with the tent and all, but I can appreciate nature and the outdoors. For those of you are are cabin-obsessed, please enjoy this Cabin Porn that I’ve found for you.
