Bobs Vs Toms

Sketchers has released a new line of alpargata style shoes that bare a very similar resemblance to Toms. In addition to knocking off basically the entire look of the shoe, they have decided that for every pair sold, they will donate not one, but two pairs to a child in need.

Sketchers – I know your business is hurting and all, but there’s no need to be a copy cat! This sounds a little ridiculous. I don’t wear Toms because I am in love with my Sanuks, but I’m a supporter of the brand and Blake Mycoskie nonetheless. Since Toms is household name, I expect that Sketchers will have a hard time anyways breaking that status.
