Mr. Robot is one of those shows that I’ve watched the first season entirely twice and still always feel like I’m missing very important points. It’s not a show that you can have just in the background and now I’m about to watch it again for the third time so that I can know what’s going on in the upcoming second season. This is one of the few shows that I’m actually excited for this coming summer!
Also this is the first post of 2016! WOWEEEWOW! Over the holiday break, USA aired a whole season 1 marathon of Mr. Robot which I caught up on. There’s no definitive date on when the show will return, but it is expected to be sometime around July 2016.
As if I needed another show to watch. Every time I keep thinking about Mr. Robot, I end up writing “Mr. Robert.” What? I’m currently on episode 2, but I’m obsessed with this show and Rami Malek who is just superb and in some ways kind of a dream boat? We were all thinking it. Where did this guy come from? The last time I remembered seeing him in anything was Short Term 12 and I think he played a completely different character than he does now. Wow. Acting, right?! It’s amazing. A few of my co-workers have told me that they have stopped watching because they find the show to be too dark. But amongst Pretty Little Liars and Bachelors in Paradise, I could use a little dark every now and then.
It was a random weekend evening that I discovered ‘Chrisley Knows Best.’ I didn’t know who Todd Chrisley was or what he did. I thought the show was absolutely ridiculous, but then I found myself watching the second episode, the third episode, the fourth, and then becoming excited that the show had been renewed for a second season. ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ is a 30-minute series airing on both USA and E! and follows the lives of Todd Chrisley, his wife, and their five kids.
I think the most entertaining part of this show is that Todd is the most strict parent I’ve ever witnessed on television. You would think that with all of the money that they have, the family is always striving for perfection and that his kids can get their way with just about anything, but that just isn’t true. His kids mess up. They make mistakes and every episode there seems to be some kind of a heart-wrenching life lesson with each of them and yes, they tug at my heart strings. This family is adorable and Todd Chrisley whatever he does for a living doesn’t really matter because he’s seems like a pretty great father and a family man. I’m looking forward to seeing what the second season will bring.

It’s December and I could not be more excited about being so close to a new year already! To kick off the holiday season, I spent no time at all Christmas shopping and instead indulging in some of my favorite guilty vices. The life of a 22-year old, right?
1. To start off my Friday evening, boy and I went out to Nibbana in Bellevue for some Thai food and then off to Joey’s with a couple of friends for my most favorite drink of all – The Bellini.

I cannot believe it will have been a year since it last premiered. I never thought I would be able to make it.
What an intense game! I was pretty much on the edge of my seat the entire time and was rooting for our USA ladies because they put up one hell of a fight. In the end, the win went to Japan and to be honest, it could’ve gone either way. Regardless, both teams played incredibly and everyone should be proud of them.
