I wanted to take a second tonight to introduce you all to a wonderful girl named Whitney Ballen. I have known her for nearly five years now and have even had the pleasure of working with her. I received a message from her tonight about her progress in finishing up the recording of her first album “White Feathers, White Linens.” She’s been working on it for two years now and to finish she needs to have her ten tracks mastered, but she cannot do it alone. This isn’t a plea for you to donate, but if you’d like to I’m sure that Whitney would greatly appreciate it. I really would just like to help spread the word about her music.

She is a lovely girl and a beautiful performer. She has this alluring presence about that makes people want to know more about her and her music. I once watched her perform at a show where as soon as she performed her first song everyone in the audience (standing room) took a seat for her right on the floor. It’s not the most comfortable, obviously, but, for some reason, they all felt inclined to do that for her.
