Sultry electro-R&B wizard, James Blake teamed up with Chicago’s Chance The Rapper for a memorable remix that encapsulates the energy of both artists. Lucky for us, they shot this amazing video to commemorate the track; a Sunday afternoon drive wherein our heroes catch all types of shade.

Josh Tillman, the man known as Father John Misty, and former Fleet Fox drummer, has been touring relentlessly behind last year’s Fear Fun, an album constructed equally upon his highly mythologized “fictional” character and velvety vocals.
Much like the rest of Fear Fun, “I’m Writing A Novel” seems to follow the “everything-but-the-kitchen-sink” method, showing footage of cruise-ships, a mysterious woman driving a hearse, and, even, Tillman donning a Napoleonic uniform. We don’t want to spoil everything, though; it’s best to just take it all in.
If you’re like us, you haven’t been able to escape Lorde’s laid-back, end of summer anthem “Royals” but you aren’t too upset about it.
Just last night she lent her signature ambient R&B style to “Can’t Control My Liquor” at a concert in her homeland of New Zealand, adding a more enunciated delivery than Justin Vernon’s original version.
Lorde’s debut album, Pure Heroine, comes out on September 30th, just one week before her 17th birthday.
