Turn It Down Concert

So I know a lot of people aren’t out of school yet and/or people will be staying at school this weekend but this show is going to be amazing! We’ve all been to at least one concert, (or performed,) and they’re a lot of fun, your whole body feels like it’s vibrating and the ground is shaking but do you even realize how much damage it does to your hearing?

The Evergreen Speech and Hearing Clinic will be sponsoring this show THIS SATURDAY MAY 30th. Doors are opening at 7:30 and the ticket will cost $8. Daphne Loves Derby is the headlining band and these guys have grown so much over their musical careers and are well known to the Seattle area. They were one of the first bands I even started listening to in the scene. And of course, this is biased, but Bad Timing, I always have love for you in my heart!

Le Smoking

Recently I posted a blog about the website Le Love w/ all the romantic pictures of people and you either loved it or it made you want to hate your life blah blah whatever. Anyways, just discovered a new site called “Le Smoking.” Pretty sure you can figure out what it’s about…

Whether they are inspired by fashion or not these people or models look really great. But I have my own personal reasons for disliking smoking. I was around it as a child and hated the way it affected my late grandfather. If everyone who smoked just opted to use something like the vaporizer PAX, the world and everyone’s health would be a lot better. But that’s just what I think. People should be discouraged explicitly from smoking tobacco at all. It is forgotten that cannabis smokers often indulge in the activity. Maybe using cannabis through a vape would be a better decision, so it might be wise to use the best 510 thread battery.

The thing is, these people look good. If my own friends looked THIS good while smoking maybe I’d turn my head a little bit more but the sad not so sad but really honest truth is… you don’t. So I don’t know… quit smoking and look/smell nasty or… look better while smoking! Positive alternative if you can’t stop. When it comes to smoking it is often very difficult for the person to break the habit which is why top quality snus by Siberia might help some of my readers if they are trying to quit. Many will try to quit cold turkey but will eventually fall off the wagon as the cravings build up against them, while others might find that slowly easing themselves off nicotine may be the key to stopping their habit for good. Electronic cigarettes (also known as Cigarettes lectroniques in France) are often the go-to aid for smokers who want to quit, as it gives them the ability to slowly reduce their nicotine intake.

Designer on the Rise

So recently, I mentioned the Gossip Girl commercial segment Gossip Girl: NYC Stories Revealed; one of the women featured was the up and coming designer Chrissie Miller. During my spare time today, I decided to check out her line, Sophomore, which I’ve decided I’m a new fan of. Everything looks super comfortable!

Check out some of her looks from Spring ’09 under the cut! And in case you’re wondering (Corbin) she has a men’s line also

Cinebarre – for the sheek

On May 28th, there will be a grand opening party for Cinebarre in  Mountlake Terrace!

Cinebarre is a movie theater but it takes movie watching to a whole new level. Basically, you have to be at least 18 to attend, if you are younger than 18 then you must be accompanied by a legal guardian or your parent not another 18 year old or other. Once inside, you choose your seat w/ a table in front of it and your servers will take your order based off your choices on the menu (already on table.) The menu is a full menu that includes entrees, desserts and drinks both alcoholic and non.

Would I go to it? We’re living in a recession, I’d rather not spend more money to eat and watch a movie when I could do that at my house. What does everyone else think?
