Life as a Seattelite

“You have to be a tourist in your city at least once.” – Jeanette

A couple of weeks ago, Jeanette approached me about her idea of touring Seattle and spending the day becoming re-acqainted with the great spots in our city. She said that the last time she took a trip to Pike Place Market was so long ago and she had also wanted to see the Fremont Troll. I also wanted to share some of my favorite places with her too, so I lead her down Post Alley to the gum wall, Gas Works park, and downtown Fremont.

We had the most amazing day traveling all over the city, taking pictures and getting lost every second of the way.

The first set of pictures are just from something I created titled, “Life as a Seattelite.” Jeanette’s pictures are also used in this post.

It’s not every day that you see a film crew and with the most adorable kids.

This is a sign telling me I need a new camera. Too light for flash too dark for normal. I did the best I could.

I’m losing my eye maybe…

Meet Leah. She’s fabulous.

“Now run away from me!” I know I could have executed this a lot better.I’m my own worst critic.

We had lunch at this great organic cafe called Homegrown.
