The Painted Road

A visually pleasing display of art was cast over the streets of Berlin. 13 gallons of water-based paint were poured into the busy intersection of Rosenthaler Platz. Even though this act was planned by a bunch of cyclists, it took cyclists, drivers, and pedestrians to create this marveling piece.

The paint was harmless though and would simply wash away with water. I’m sure if someone tried to pull this off in the states, people would just get pissy. We live in a world where people see more things as inconveniences than beauty.

So beautiful! I am so sure that if someone tried this in the states they’d get in SO MUCH trouble.

It’s such a bummer too because it’s such a neat concept I wish we saw around the Seattle area more often.
