Craigslist: Blessing or Trap

How do you know if you’re using it correctly? What makes you think that you’re going to be in the percentage that doesn’t get scammed?

It’s hard to be sure of anything on the internet these days. Sometimes when you want something so badly every fiber in your body that tells you no gets ignored. If anything is too good too be true, it probably is! Are any of you frequent buyers or sellers on Craigslist? I’ve never successfully used the site, but I have browsed before. I’ve had friends that pick up furniture for a great price or even for free. However, I’ve also heard stories of the scams both direct or indirect. A person directly scammed would be someone picking up something at a deserted house only to get jumped or robbed. And that’s not to scare anyone, but it’s important to be careful right?

…well, it’s a little scary.

Designer Christian Siriano has been associated to a Craiglist scam since February. Someone has been posing from a member of his team looking for models for upcoming shoots. Read about his address to the issue here
