Superhero Grandma Therapy

I adore grandparents. Time spent with them is more cherished and extra special. It’s a shame we don’t appreciate this when we are younger as I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say we would all kill to have more time with them. Even something as trivial and insignificant as showing them how to choose a cell phone is something I would pay a million dollars to do one more time. It should go without saying that they are often times some of the greatest people you will ever meet because 1) They’ve got the best stories and b) They are super sweet people. I know that this is true because my Grandma Ruby is a boss. In French photographer Sacha Goldberger’s new photo series Superhero Grandma Therapy, he is captured Frederika as a 91-year-old superhero grandma. The name is quite fitting because Frederika is a true hero as she lived through World War II and actually saved the lives of ten people.

Sascha had hoped to cheer up Frederika with this photo shoot because she had started to feel lonely and depressed. By the end of the day, the grandma couldn’t stop smiling. Awww!
