For some reason, it never occurred to me until this year that snowflakes were so simple to make. This winter, I felt inspired by Free People’s in store decor [below] that I decided to mirror their project with the help of some friends to create something just like this:
The first photo was art that a fan of Nylon Magazine had submitted. They made snowflakes out of the pages of the magazine! I’m not sure which I like better because I’m loving the variety in colors from the pages, but at the same time the white is reminiscent of lace and gives a more classic and elegant feel.
