Poor kid…

All he wants to do is tan in Florida, is that too difficult to ask? Damn you snowpocalypse. Look at what you’re doing to our youth.

The Beauty of Pixar

WHOA overflow of posts today. If you haven’t noticed, I’m trying to pump out these posts before I get back into dreaded school mode again! Also, naturally there is always more to post at the end of the year anyways.

No matter how old I get, I will always love watching Pixar movies. Vidque has created a mash-up of 500+ scenes  over the years from Pixar movies and it is really quite wondrous. Also the opening features The XX’s “Intro,” which is just awesome in itself. To watch it now click here

It only seemed fitting to make a post about albums to look forward to in 2011 after revealing the movies to anticipate in 2011. Next year will absolutely be an incredible year in music and film! • Jay-Z and Kanye West – That’s My Throne
  • Britney Spears
  • Coldplay
  • Death Cab for Cutie – Codes and Keys
  • The Strokes
  • Adele – 21

Nike x Liberty of London

I don’t think I could be more excited about spring than I am right now! My favorite stores are already beginning to roll out the first batch of their collections and I want to own every single piece. With spring coming up around the corner, I can shove my worn-down pair of Uggs into the back of my closet and make preparations to purchase a fresh new pair of kicks! Nike and Liberty of London have collaborated on a new collection that is bursting with floral prints. The styles come in Dunk, Air Force 1, and Blazer. The collection will be out Spring 2011.

Note to Self: Visiting DisneyLand during the holidays is a bad idea

After yesterday, many people will no longer be calling Disneyland the happiest place on Earth. The amusement park was forced to turn away potential guests for fear of exceeding capacity. They have also been doing the same today. When reaching capacity, they suggested their guests head on over to California Adventure Park, but as expected, they had reached capacity as well.

Out on the Town: 12/29

The Wild Orchid Children will be performing with Broken Nobles, Country Lips, and Bored Room at the Black Lodge tonight at 9PM – ticket fee unknown. I have no idea where the Black Lodge is located, but it is somewhere within the Seattle area. When I tried to look up the location the description next to it read “secret.” This isn’t a secret show, but with the location unknown, you can call it a secret show and you’ll have a Nick and Norah adventure for the night!
