As I’ve already mentioned earlier this summer – and will probably mention a few more times before the end of summer – I am thrilled to be attending two summer weddings this season! Even though I have some friends that have stated they will never get married, the majority of them have already planned out their wedding in their heads. Of course, you’re not going to tell anyone though unless things go awry. As a little girl, I think I was the type of person that wanted a big churchy wedding because it was all I’d ever known. However, as I grew up and developed my tastes (and somewhat of a hipster personality) – what I want is far from that. Instead of opting for tradition, I find myself drawn towards things that are DIY.
Before the birthdays of spoiled sixteen year-olds, weddings were pretty much one of the most expensive events you could ever throw. The truth is, most of us don’t have that kind of money laying around and that was true for teachers Pam and Joe who threw the most magnificent bicycle wedding I have ever seen!
