If you’re a planner like me, then you are most likely the type of person that preps for an interview by quizzing yourself with a few questions.

By now, you may be familiar with answering questions like “Tell us about yourself,” “What are your strengths and weaknesses?” “Tell us a time when you had to resolve a problem,” etc. But what if you’re interviewing with a company that throws you a curve ball by asking a question you have never even considered an answer to? Google and Facebook are two examples of companies that are known for asking their off-the-wall questions to test how their potential employees would attack a challenging problem and to see how quickly they can think on their feet.
