I was convinced that Bumbershoot was going for a health kick this year after learning about the hamster wheel installation that lets attendees generate electricity on their own before earning themselves a free snow cone, but I was so very wrong. The hamster wheel is still happening, but Bumbershoot will also be having the Frandy Bar Food Truck on site at the event as well. Known for their deep fried PB&J’s, Snickers, pickles and Oreos, Frandy Bar will have you headed straight towards a food coma or a massive sugar rush. Parents, I’d advise your kids to stay away from this vendor. A part of me thinks that it would a poor life decision for me to even think about giving this truck a try, but I can’t help but be slightly curious about the fried pickle – which Snooki has called a “life-changing experience.”
Mmm obesity.
Well, hopefully you will leave your diet at home and it you didn’t, I hear that they deep fry the fat right out of it. Come on guys and gals, do you eat like this every day?? I really hope not, but if you are out and about and see them @ Bumbershoot, then you must give them a try. The Deep Fried Snickers are AWESOME!!!
