In Motion

Since today was a grayer day than usual, I thought this outfit was more appropriate. Veronica and I originally wanted to go outside to take this photograph, but out of laziness, we sort of decided on this one last minute instead.

This gray and black ombre scarf is one of my favorites so I wanted to make sure that it didn’t go unnoticed. This was a gift from my Mom, but let’s be real – half my wardrobe either used to belong to her or was “borrowed” from her.

This isn’t a very good shot since I was just dancing in the window from earlier before – which explains why my shirt is a slop slop. I wanted to highlight the detail on this sheer dress though. I bought this dress over the summer to wear as a go-to “music festival” outfit and even though it’s not fitting for the winter at all, the navy color sometimes fits with the weather outside and goes great with chunky sweaters. I’ll most likely be featuring it again in the spring sans sweater or shirt because the racerback cut on it is one of the best parts about it!

These are yet another pair of shoes “borrowed” from my mother. They’re also the pair of shoes that I wear the most – notice the worn out laces? I recently discovered that these shoes will not survive through heavy rain though, which makes me nervous cause I’m not exactly sure what I’m going to do when I am someday forced to part from these shoes.

Just the day in the life of a space girl…
