Rose Byrne in Elie Saab Couture
I was actually impressed by most of the looks I saw on the red carpet this year at the 2012 SAG Awards -more so than the Golden Globes. Rose Byrne, Michelle Williams, Emma Stone were some of my favorites! I absolutely loved how Rose Byrne opted for a jumpsuit instead of a gown. It’s a risky choice, but the actress pulled it off. Also, her haircut is adorable with the look.
Michelle Williams in Valentino
The sheer red lace is beautiful.
Viola Davis in Marchesa
I’m always a fan of white dresses on the red carpet and the gold embellishment gives it the right amount of kick it needs to take this dress from ordinary to stunning.
Emma Stone in Alexander McQueen
Perfect dress. Perfect clutch. Perfect shoes. There’s nothing else to say here.
Jessica Chastain in Calvin Klein Collection
The dress is really so-so for me, but at least she wears it well.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in Jenny Packham
It’s hard to criticize her looks, but I really do like Jenny Packham gowns…
Zoe Saldana in Givenchy Haute Couture
Bummer. The dress could do without the sheer overlay.
Natalie Portman in Giambattista Valli Haute Couture
Beautiful dress, but it’s meh. Does anyone else feel like she used up her best-looking gowns when she was promoting Black Swan?
Emily Blunt in Oscar de la Renta
It was adorable how John could tell Giulianna Rancic who his wife was wearing during the red carpet special. The green is stunning, but I didn’t love it enough to be one of my favorites.
Meryl Streep in Vivienne Westwood
It’s refreshing to see her bring in a British designer.
Kristen Wiig in Balenciaga. I know people love her, but I don’t find her to be all that funny on Saturday Night Live. I also can’t watch Bridesmaids either. I love the high neckline on this dress, but the choker needs to go.
Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick in Emilio Pucci
Underrated power couple.
Tilda Swinton in Lanvin
How awesome would this dress look if it had a gold belt accessorized with it?
Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoji
Octavia has been wearing these dresses so well on the red carpet!
George Clooney in Giorgio Armani and Stacey Kiebler in Marchesa
This Marchesa gown is an absolute dream.
Shailene Woodly in L’Wren Scott
The dress could have been a hit or miss, but it was a miss for me.
Sofia Vergara in Marchesa
I like it!
Bérénice Bejo in Ralph Lauren Collection
This gown is gorgeous and one of my favorites.
Tina Fey in vintage Versace
Work it Fey! This Versace gown is fierce.
Julie Bowen in Temperley London
I’m kind of in between on this look, but I love the color so much.
Lea Michele in Atelier Versace
This girl is SO serious on the red carpet. This is definitely an upgrade from her too-sexy-too-mature-for-her Marchesa gown at the Golden Globes. Well done.
Dianna Agron in Carolina Herrera
When I was first watching her on the special, I only saw the top half of her dress so I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. However, after seeing the entire view of it, I’m not sure if I can say I love it. The hair is great, but I just need a little bit MORE from the dress.
Amber Heard in Zac Posen
Everyone loves sexy cutouts.
Maya Rudolph in Naeem Khan
This gown is really very pretty, however, on television the divide between the two fabrics had a strange fit.
Melissa McCarthy in Badgley Mischka
This look is sweet.
Kelly Osbourne in Badgley Mischka
Could do without the tassels.
Jayma Mays in Reem Acra
This look is HOBviously underrated. She looks gorgeous!
Katrina Bowden in Amsale
This lace is so pretty!! Also, congrats to Katrina on her engagement!
Judy Greer in Collette Dinnigan
I wish this were a sleeveless. This dress is gorgeous nontheless. I am loving the white and cream trend on the red carpet this year!
Jennifer Carpenter in Emilio Pucci
This red print is swoon-worthy!
Ashlee Simpson in Jenny Packham
This overlay trend needs to stop. Also, who invited Ashlee?!
Kaley Cuoco in Ramona Keveza
I don’t know about this one…
Sarah Hyland in Temperley
This reminds me of the gorgeous wedding gown I posted about earlier this weekend – therefore, I love it!
Amber Riley in Badgley Mischka
Golden Globes > SAGS
This is just lovely, isn’t it? Giuliana is rocking this gown!
Ariel Winter in Collette Dinnigan
Totally age appropriate and beautiful!
Jenna Ushkowitz in Rebecca Minkoff
I wish the tones weren’t competing with each other and kept some consistency, but other than that I like it a lot.
Naya Rivera in modified Naeem Khan
This is yet another underrated gown from last night. Naya looks fantastic!
Busy Phillips in Katie Nehra
Oh no she didn’t.
