Ashley and her sister Mary-Kate were introduced to the world on their first sitcom, Full House, at just nine months. From there, they went on to build an empire of films, books, television series, and then fashion lines. These days, the sisters run their own fashion brands and have no interest in returning to the acting world.

[In Elle UK] On when they decided to quit acting: “It was time to step behind the process. I wanted to work on other things. It doesn’t mean I’m not interested in Hollywood, I like the way it operates and the people who are involved and the sense of possibility. But if I ever do get back in, it’s not going to be as an actress.”

I think I am perfectly okay with that decision. Younger sister, Elizabeth, can go ahead and slay on the big screen because clearly Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are dominating in their collections for The Row and Elizabeth and James.
