It is with deep sadness today that I announce that one of my favorite bands – Jack’s Mannequin – will be performing their last show on November 11th in Los Angeles.

The band is disbanding – a natural path for bands and that’s okay. My junior high years, however, would not have been the same without “Everything in Transit.” To this day, it is still one of the best albums I own in my collection.

Veronica’s not going to be happy with this news cause she loves this band more than I do, but Andrew McMahon will sort of always be our hero. We’ll never forget the concert we saw sophomore year and we won’t forget about the time that we forgot to plan a time to watch his documentary on battling cancer. Regardless, his music isn’t going anywhere. We’ll always still have it and it will always be just as important to us at age 15 and even as we age.
