Taylor Swift: Lyric Snatcher?

Fans of Matt Nathanson are in a frenzy over a certain lyric found in a song from Taylor’s latest album “Red.” In Taylor’s song “All Too Well,” the songstress sings “and I forget about you long enough to forget why I needed to.” That’s great and all…but Matt Nathanson sang pretty much the exact same line nearly nine years ago in “I Saw.” Is this plagiarism? Was this an accident? Probably not. More importantly, DID THEY EVER DATE?! At least that would be somewhat reasonable explanation, wouldn’t it?

Whatever the case, Miss Swift is in some hot water right now and better explain herself…

Oh yeah…Matt Nathanson might not be that happy either.
