Happy Wedding Wednesday!

photo via

Readers, no one adores weddings as much as I do. I’m a hopeless romantic who simply loves love and that’s something about me that just won’t ever change. My dear co-worker is getting married next weekend and I may have the opportunity to assist another co-worker in her freelance wedding planning business this coming season so of course, I’ve had weddings on my mind lately. Huffington Post compiled a batch of photographs today for a post entitled “Amazing Wedding Photos That Will Make You Believe In Love” and they are heart-warming. And as if these weren’t enough photos for you already, right below the post is a slideshow of First Looks.

Those Adorable AT&T Kids

I’m not sure how anyone could ever doubt the hilarity of kids. From the very beginning of seeing these AT&T commercials, I pretty much knew that this had to be improvised. In my mind, I thought ‘there’s no way this could be scripted!’ Turns out, I was right. It really isn’t. BBDO has done a phenomenal job at creating these commercials and inside this article, David Christopher, the Chief Marketing Officer at AT&T Mobility discusses how this campaign came to be.

What Your Instagram Filter Says About You

Until I got my iPhone back in September, I was completely cut off from Instagram. Unfortunately, they just don’t make it compatible for Blackberrys. However, I will say that Instagram was the first app I downloaded and it was a pretty great decision from the start. I was the type of girl that carried my little Sony digital camera with me everywhere, but sometimes when your phone does the exact same thing, it’s easier to be carrying one less item in my small purse. I love the filters – Valencia, Nashville, Earlybird – the whole gang. So when I came across this Instagram infographic today, I figured I had to share it with all of you!

This Or That: Wallpaper

As much as I like to try to spin this off that I am all about that home decor, I really have no idea what I am doing 80% of the time. To be frank with my readers, I am always confused most of the time. For instance, once I wanted to hang a few canvas-printed pictures of me on the walls. But I was not sure if I should go for aluminum photo prints or split canvas prints (both of which can be availed from the best uk canvas printer firm). I was so puzzled by the choices that I ended up not hanging anything on the wall.

This time, however, the confusion is regarding something else–my wallpaper. Honestly, I’ve always been wary about wallpaper, but that’s mostly because it has had such a bad rap after all these years. Wallpaper to me resembles the oddly colored striped panels that are found in old dying homes. Wallpaper also reminds me of those pink bunnies found in Uncle Jesse’s bedroom against a turquoise background.

This wallpaper pictured above though is what I call a standout piece. How amazing would it look in one of your living rooms? It adds so much depth to a room and personality. I’ve heard a lot about peel and stick wallpaper options that let you do something like this with their patterns already, so maybe it’s time to shake the distrust of wallpaper and go heads first into a project.

What do you think of this design? Does it seem modern and trendy to you, a cool standout against the normal decor you’d expect to find, a striking image against the standard cream white of other houses that seems impossible to escape? Or are you still unsure and wary of the idea that it’s wallpaper, and that sets off the distrust in you as it does for me? I’m going to consider working through my old stigmas about the stuff and see what happens next, but i’d love to hear from you all about it.

Pretty Little Liars Spin-off Ravenswood

ABC Family completely did a 360 on their network when they signed on Pretty Little Liars. Now that they know what’s working for them, they are using it to their advantage. Their hit series Pretty Little Liars will have its own spin-off later this fall called Ravenswood. The plot will “center on a town, not far from Rosewood, PA (the home base of Pretty Little Liars), which has suffered under a deadly curse for generations. Five strangers suddenly find themselves connected by this fatal curse and need to dig into the town’s mysterious and terrible history before it’s too late for each of them.”
