Wedding Mondays

Happy Wedding Mondays everyone! I’m getting to that point in my life where weddings are not just something that I seek out on my own because I love them. I’m getting to this age where it starts to become my entire newsfeed. I mean, I don’t hate it though. My manager once told me that people love seeing these stories pop up and that’s why when someone gets into a relationship or gets engaged or married, they have a gazillion likes and are always at the top of your newsfeed as a top story.

Additionally, people like to see a bit of inspiration. Maybe they’re planning their own wedding, or they’re attending a wedding soon and don’t know what to wear. A wedding takes a lot of thought and preparation, so it can be good to borrow ideas that you like from pictures of other people’s weddings. Choosing a dress code is often a big decision – do you go formal or informal? Similarly, finding a venue can be a mission in itself. This Wedding Venue in Fort Worth, TX might be perfect for those who like the idea of a big barn wedding, but alternatively, you might want a traditional church wedding instead.

The season can make a big difference. Summer will make for gorgeous lighting, but it can get sweaty and uncomfortable. Winter offers the chance for glistening snow and festive decor, but it can be cold and miserable too. That’s why most people opt for a spring or autumn wedding as it offers a good in-between. Remember, the further your venue is from home, the fewer guests will be able to travel to get to you, so consider whether accommodation is affordable for everyone. If you’re expecting a lot from your guests, it falls to you to pay for their troubles.

Today’s Monday has been a rollercoaster ride of emotions so if you’re looking for something that might make you tear up a bit, this wedding video will most likely be IT. I’ve never been a huge fan of speeches at weddings because sometimes I don’t find them funny or I just think they drag on a bit. When my friend got married this past month, her younger sister made an amazing toast and this one reminded me of that.
