West Coast Touring

It is good to be home. This past month while I was away from Yow Yow! I was back and forth between the Bay Area and Phoenix, Pasadena, and Seattle. I used to always wonder what it was like to be on tour and now I feel like I’m finally getting a small taste of it. I went through five airports, went through security six times, met hundreds of people and ate amazing meals. I am tired. I am also very grateful that I had opportunities to spend my weekends traveling always at home. It’s a pretty great place to be! ^^ We were tourists for the day!

I fulfilled my craving for biscuits and gravy at Morsel in Seattle

One day my co-workers and I dressed up for work and pretended that we were our own law firm.

The best ramen that I have ever had at Hakata Ramen Shinsengumi in LA! I’ve had a lot of ramen, but none quite like this. The best part were the noodles – just perfectly cooked and thin the way I like them. The best part? If you’ve finished all of your noodles you can order more to go with the rest of your broth! Amazing. I really should’ve done this when I had the chance.

Back in Palo Alto, I had dinner at Tamarine for the first time and we ordered the most interestesting tapioca dessert that I have ever had. No, it’s not an egg yolk just some sweet mango with coconut ice cream and lots and lots of tapioca.

I read a post recently on Refinery29 about the new “trendy” Instagram shot so I decided to try it out myself. My mother’s gifted wool socks are a dream.

While in the between work trips, I made a stop in Vancouver for some boutique shopping. This one didn’t carry a women’s line, but I would’ve worn these guy pieces any day.
