Well, this is not how we wanted to start out the year. Don’t worry, this is not going to move to Tuesdays. I really love having Wedding Mondays because even when I was in college, I always thought that it was the best way to kick off the week. For some reason though, it is hard for me to remember to write this post Sunday night/Monday morning before work. We’ve gotta get better at this!

Though sometimes lengthy, I’ll admit that I really love reading and/or hearing the stories of how couples met. No story is ever the same and while I know some couples might not say it, it’s important to remember that no couple is ever perfect. It can be so easy to get carried away with all of these wedding videos. I know I have many times. But personally, I’m not doing myself any favors when I believe that love is something so perfect. We see what we want to see and that’s why these wedding videos come out so perfectly. Sorry, is that depressing/upsetting? We’re just trying to be real here 🙂

Real talk though – I love this video mostly for the wedding reception. It is absolutely stunning and while it may be a little too fancy schmancy for taste, I still kind of like it. To view the rest of the wedding feature on Style Me Pretty, click here.
