Oscars Red Carpet 2015

Margot Robbie in Saint Laurent

Margot is all anyone is talking about tonight! With her new film “Focus” coming out very soon, this young actress on the rise is totally nailin’ it on the red carpet this evening. I love everything about this effortless look. She’s not the only one that decided to wear Saint Laurent tonight, but she’s clearly the one that wore it best. That necklace is everything.

Rosamund Pike in Givenchy

Finally! REDEMPTION! All throughout award show season, Rosamund Pike has been blowing it. She’s been wearing gowns that have been unflattering or missing the mark, but this… THIS is the gown that we’ve been waiting for. She’s a babe, isn’t she? The color is bringing out her skin tone and that belt is highlighting her waist in all of the right ways. Winner…of the red carpet at least.

Emma Stone in custom Elie Saab

She never disappoints on the red carpet. I always knew that she was a bit of a risk taker, but this was a huge risk. She’s wearing chartreuse and we never see that on the carpet. Good for her!

Reese Witherspoon keeping it classic in Tom Ford

Gwyneth Paltrow getting a little crazy in Ralph & Russo.

I actually kind of hate this. Sorry.

Sienna Miller in Oscar de la Renta

When Giuliana Rancic talked about this gown on the E! Red Carpet special, she really didn’t have any love for this dress, but I find it to be absolutely gorgeous. Sure, black can be overdone on the red carpet and it’s nothing new, but sometimes I just love the classics. I love the way this dress looks on her and the fitted bows are perfection.

Julianne Moore being the HBIC in custom Chanel.

Don’t ever change and HOBviously don’t ever age. This is amazing.

Marion Cotillard in Dior Haute Couture

At first, I didn’t love this gown. It didn’t look like anything special, but if you do some digging on the back of the gown, you’ll see some of the gathered ruching, which is pretty cool.

Naomi Watts in Armani Prive

I don’t know why, but these look like scales to me and it is very cool. It reminds me of when she wore that snake necklace on the red carpet earlier this year. I love that she’s taking some big risks on the carpet.

Jennifer Aniston in Versace

It’s okay.

Scarlett Johansson in Atelier Versace

Love the color, hate the necklace.

Keira Knightley wearing Valentino Haute Couture

She’s really been on this nature journey lately, hasn’t she… it ain’t a good look.

Cate Blanchett in Maison Martin Margiela

Felicity Jones in Alexander McQueen

Felicity had a great opportunity all award show season to be fantastic, but she has been my biggest disappointment.

Jessica Chastain in Givenchy Haute Couture

Kerry Washington in Miu Miu

This was a very popular color for the night, but what I love about this dress the most is the double faced satin buster top paired with a peplum bodice. It compliments the “skirt” part of the dress very nicely.

Zoe Saldana in Atelier Versace

I actually really really love this. The ladies on the E! Red Carpet special kept saying that they hated how this dress had straps, but I actually like it a lot because it modernizes it. This is super pretty on Zoe.

Lupita Nyong’o wearing a beauitful custom pearl and ivory beaded dress from Calvin Klein Collection.

Jennifer Lopez in Elie Saab

The fact that her dress, makeup, and skin tone are all in the same color family kind of worries me. I much prefer the smokey eye look on her.

Dakota Johnson in Saint Laurent

Margot Robbie still did it better…

Chrissy Teigen in Zuhair Murad with John Legend.

I swear she wore a dress just like this to another award show this year.

Anna Kendrick in Thakoon

While  I love this coral color, the look of the dress isn’t my favorite. It just felt a little bit too safe for me.

Behati Prinsloo in Armani Prive and Adam Levine in Armani.

Meryl Streep in Lanvin

Hannah Bagshawe and Eddie Redmayne both in Alexander McQueen

Nicole Kidman in Louis Vuitton

Earlier on the E! Live Red Carpet special, some of the ladies expressed that they really weren’t a fan of the red belt, but it definitely adds something to this dress. The dress alone, probably would have been a bore.

Chloe Moretz in Miu Miu

This is an unflattering pose for her, but this look makes her look so grown up! Her hair and makeup are on point this evening.

Common in Prada

Lady Gaga in Alaïa

Yes to the dress! No to the gloves! What?

Oprah Winfrey in custom Vera Wang

Channing Tatum with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum in Zuhair Murad Haute Couture

Rita Ora in custom Marchesa

Jamie Chung in Yanina Couture

Gorgeous! Congrats to Big Hero 6 for taking home the big win this evening!
