Happy belated Thanksgiving everyone! I was trying my hardest to stay completely off of my computer yesterday because I wanted to enjoy the time with my family and *successfully* achieved my goal. To top things off, I didn’t buy anything during Black Friday. Self control, like whoa!
Actually, I didn’t really feel like I needed to buy anything. I had recently purchased two holiday party dresses (I only needed one) so that felt like enough for me. On top of that, I’m headed to Boston next weekend and saving money just always sounds like a really good idea. I was very lucky to have celebrated three Thanksgiving this year! A record! Every year, my company hosts a Thanksgiving with an entire feast and it’s one of the most darling events we hold each year. Last weekend, I also attended Mandi’s Friendsgiving which was also very sweet and started with a win from the Seahawks. That’s always a good thing especially since we’re having an embarassing season so far. Here are a few photos from all three events for you to enjoy below. This year, I am very thankful for:
- family in different places that I can see for the holidays
- the best friends anyone could ever ask for
- a job that I enjoy coming to every day
- a home that feels like home every day
- good food. almost all the time
Before these became everyone’s favorite centerpieces!
An arrangement of appetizers that I completely forgot to eat.
Our cafe all lit up for dinner!
