J. Crew Partners with Nordstrom

It was only a matter of time! Announced this morning, J. Crew will partner with Seattle based retailer, Nordstrom, to have their brand in select stores. J. Crew’s sister retailer, Madewell, has been selling within Nordstrom for quite some time already so this news should come as no surprise. In fact, the only surprise is that J. Crew didn’t do it before Madewell. Beginning September 12th, shoppers will be able to purchase J. Crew pieces in select stores as well as online at Nordstrom.com. Nordstrom plans to carry women’s apparel, men’s suiting and accessories with their petite line sold exclusively online.

“This was an easy decision,” said J.Crew CEO Mickey Drexler in a release. “Nordstrom is the perfect partner because we both share the same high standards of customer service and store experience. Additionally, we are known for exceptional design, quality and style, which we know will appeal to the Nordstrom customer.”
