We are milking this Bay Area summer for as long as we can! Sure, the collection is for Fall 2016… but don’t these images look like summer to you? We’re lucky that if we get these pieces we can still wear them well into the fall her in Northern California. Here are my favorite looks from Amuse Society’s latest collection:

Dear Rupert,
One sweater does cost us $57 to make; but that’s not the ridiculous part. The ridiculous part is that other brands have a similar cost but mark their prices up so much more. Maybe they need the brain scans.

Typically when a customer is upset with a brand or a company, the company usually has to respond with something v. PC and safe. I experience this all the time and I’m usually never satisfied with it. And when I say all the time, I mean I literally just got off the phone with a Comcast rep. Enough said. I actually have to applaud Everlane for this though because not only is it somewhat entertaining to see a brand/company clap back, but Hey! they’re doing the opposite of what everyone else says you have to do. This is great.
I know I can’t be the only one who was itching to see this? It was actually kind of enjoyable to watch. Britney used to be an icon for me growing up and even though she’s got her residency in Vegas currently and her family and things seem great, I can’t help but remember that period in her life when things were really NOT great and the fact that she’s still under a conservatorship.
I liked that we got to hear her sing a bit in this, but not sure why she was still lip synching through “Toxic.”
We still love listening to a song and after 20 seconds can immediately tell that it’s going to be a jam.
Dress and Beanie – Aritzia
We get a little bit spoiled by the weather here in the Bay Area sometimes so even if it’s not cold at all, we might try and fake it because we miss wearing the pieces we USED to be able to wear in Seattle. Like… this beanie for example! To be honest, while it is v. cute and v. chic, it does not provide any warmth at all to our head. It’s really just for looks. We like this look a lot because it’s an Aritzia x2 – POW POW! And we paired it with black boots and these rings to make it look like we hard or somethin’. Everyone knows we’re so not.
We were actually going to shoot these photos outside on this day, but our new office was recently opened and though we’re not occupying it officially yet, our security guard let us come in for a photo shoot. How cute are these high school style bleachers?!
Every time I finish my work day (I made my cut off time 9:00 PM tonight) I always think that I’m going to have the same amount of energy to put towards Yow Yow! and to be able to find material and be able to whip something up in time to post by the end of the night. For some reason, it was really easy when we were in school and we would do like 8 posts every night, but it’s so much harder as an adult!
Tonight, we’re keeping things pretty casual with a new series by Wong Fu Productions. I had read a preview about this earlier in the week – the story centers around two main characters – Kina Grannis and Harry Shum Jr. who are friends from high school. One night, way back when, they make a pact that if they are still single by the time they are 30, that they’ll just marry each other. Well… flash forward years later – they are 30! I’m not going to spoil it for you so you’ll just have to see what happens next. I think this is airing on YouTube Red though which means… it might cost some $$$, but the first episode which we’re showing here is free! If you like it, maybe you’ll continue on with the series. I mean, I definitely want to know what happens next!
Tech company, Airbnb, has opened up a new office in Tokyo and as you can already imagine, it’s stunning. Personally, I’ve never had a chance to visit their office in San Francisco, but have always heard that it is one of the best offices out of all the startup and tech companies in Silicon Valley and San Francisco so it’s no surprise that Tokyo wouldn’t follow suit.
The great thing about moving offices is that there are so many interior design ideas that you can incorporate to not only make your space visually pleasing to look at, but also efficient enough for productivity levels too. This is something that has become so important for offices in this day and age. While moving an office could open up new opportunities for designing, you may have to be extremely mindful of the process of office supply and equipment shifting. Whether it is a fresh look or a renovation over an already existing design. teams with experience in commercial office fitout should be able to offer the requisite service. However, extra attention may need to be paid to handling and shifting office equipment. That generally tends to be an area where undue expenses are incurred. Per employee feedback, the theme of nature is heavily incorporated throughout the new design, with the end result serving as a breath of fresh air from the city’s chaotic Shinjuku district outside. Staff members can dine in the light-filled café and reception area, follow wooden paths to the various meeting rooms, and remove their shoes and relax on the tatami mats peppered throughout the office.
