Wedding Mondays

[vimeo http://vimeo.com/177641700]

Oh my goodness, it has been a long time since I’ve stumbled across a wedding video that I have fallen absolutely in love with. Eileen and Brian – what a stunning couple! I felt like I was watching this magnificent vintage wedding film that really pulled me into the setting with them. What I love about this film is that it was a lot more calm than what we’re used to seeing. We all know how much I love those high-energy packed wedding videos, but it’s nice – every once in awhile – to watch one that takes a step back. I found myself really enjoying this and I think you all will too.

We are obsessed. These photos and video are from Branch + Cole.

Pace Gallery – Menlo Park

This past spring, a few friends and I decided to check out the Pace Gallery in Menlo Park and we’re now sharing a couple of photos from the exhibit. For a couple months before that, I had seen tons of photos from people that were visiting and I just couldn’t wait any longer to see it in person. Let me just say that Menlo Park is not an exciting city. It’s the home to Facebook, sure, but it’s mostly just families residing here and stuff, but this is THE coolest thing in this city and it makes a ton of people flock to it so that they can all get cool Instagram photos.

I swear to you – when I arrived – everyone was dressed like a fashion blogger and that’s not something you usually see in Menlo Park. All that aside, the gallery is pretty cool. It was fun to stop by and it felt like it was right in my neighborhood since I didn’t have to drive all the way up to the city for it. It probably takes about an hour to go through it all, which is a comfortable amount of time. There’s also a separate building for a kids’ exhibit, but most of the adults enjoy going there too.

What We’re Listening to This Weekend:

We don’t have an album to share with you today, but instead it’s a mix from sosupersam. It is sometimes crucial for me to have a nice soundtrack as I’m working especially when I’m at home – yeah, we’ve been working all weekend! At work, it’s a little bit different because it’s so stop and go with meetings. I’ll put in my headphones for what feels like 5 minutes before I have to take them out again and be on my way to a meeting or a conference room or a call. At home though, I’m going to want something that I can listen to continuously, which is why I usually try to pick an album or a long track. If you’ve ever been with me when I’m choosing music, then you know I can’t just listen to any old playlist because I’m going to constantly skip over songs. This one is really good though; listen to it from start to finish and ENJOY!
