Philadelphia

I’m currently on this travel bug that I like to call a “work tour.” My first stop actually brought me to Philly! I remember coming out of the plane and just feeling a wave of humidity come over me, which didn’t stop for the next 3 days. It was my first time in the city and honestly, I wish I had had more time there! We had dinner out a couple of times and luckily stayed downtown so we got to explore whatever was in walking distance, but I had a feeling I could’ve loved it even more. Funny thing is, I used to think that I wanted to move to Philly after college for a dream job. It’s not like I haven’t thought about it since then, but I just don’t think it’s my dream job anymore. I’m really grateful that my work brought me there for the first time a few weeks ago and that I finally got to see it in real life. I can’t wait until I’m back there again.

Also, sharing this video because it’s relevant – thanks Herman for posting this on your blog! However, whenever I see videos of these made for Seattle, I’m always like yeah yeah whatever, but now I might have a greater sense of appreciation for them since I’m not a local, myself.
