For years, we avoided buying a romper. Why would I want to wear a piece that makes me feel even more childlike?! Well, an opportunity came for me earlier this year in which I was attending my first bachelorette party and the theme for one of the nights called for something in floral. Everyone knows that I’ve got this thing about being photographed in an “event” piece more than once so of course we went out on the hunt for something new and floral. I liked this romper from the minute I stepped into it. When photographed from the front, it kind of looks like a dress. Plus, the material is soft and comfortable to wear for any spring/summer day or night. The cut in the front is a little bit unique though and I still haven’t decided if I’m into it or not, but luckily, it’s not something I have to pull out that often. Also, when wearing this romper, it’s got a deep cut in the front so I always have to make sure to use a safety pin because we’re in our mid-20’s and we’re just a little bit too old to still be having wardrobe malfunctions. To give this romper more shape, I used a very old belt that I “borrowed” from my mom several years ago to hold it all together. Also contrary to what I believed, this romper makes me look sort of the opposite of child, right? My legs do NOT look like this IRL. Now rompers are all the rage and you can easily find them at places like fillyflair.com, they’re available everywhere!
