How does one feel uncomfortable when just wearing a top and jeans? I can’t explain it, but it’s just how I feel! Believe me, I know that if I were to follow this rule every day while getting ready, my life would be a whole lot easier. It’s something that has never been able to sit right with us though. In this kind of outfit, I always feel like there is something missing. I’m fidgety, I squirm, and I feel like I’m wearing too few items to feel entirely comfortable. Hence, the reason for why I added the heels. I love owning masculine pieces in my closet and if you’ve ever been shopping with me, then you know I enjoy perusing a quality men’s boutique every now and then. However, this is an outfit that couldn’t just be paired with sneakers. I would’ve felt too short or too boy-ish so I popped on the heels. These are the same black heels that you see me wearing with most every day outfits, but also for when I’m dressing up too! They not only elevated me in height, but also made me feel more like myself.
