Museum of Craft and Design

My friend Megan was in town for a felt exhibition by Janice Arnold at the Museum of Craft and Design in San Francisco. With an extra invite in her pocket for the opening, I didn’t think this was something that I could actually turn down. I was so curious and of course I knew of felt because of the material, but had never really dove much deeper than that. The exhibit itself, felt like a dream. Everything was beautiful, light, and incredibly delicate. The felt hung overhead like canopies  – the most beautiful canopies you would have ever seen. I love this photo above because you can see how fort-like it looks, but also how very pretty it all is.

The sign on the right clearly says “do not touch.” The best part of my night was watching a guest come over to this structure and start picking up each piece one-by-one completely oblivious.
