A Royal Engagement

Waking up to the news of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle being engaged was the best news of yesterday morning. I actually was planning on writing a post last night after watching the full interview between the two of them, but was fan-girling out way too hard to keep my composure even in writing. It also meant that I had some extra time to do more reading on the news so that I could include extra links to better support this post. Say what you want about this engagement, but I haven’t spoken to a single person who isn’t obsessed with them especially more so now after this news has broken out. I’ll admit, I don’t know everything about Prince Harry, but I’ve been a fan of Meghan Markle’s since episode one of Suits. To top it off, not only is she beautiful and intelligent, but she’s a talented actress who also ran her own lifestyle blog and does so much more beyond that. Meghan Markle will be a great role model (if she isn’t considered one already) and while I know there has been a lot of criticism directed towards her, I don’t think any of those are actually that relevant – do you? 🙂

We’re in love with them. Emoji. Heart eyes.

Also in case you’ve been living under a rock and have no idea how this relationship escalated so quickly, here’s a great recap of their timeline from Vogue.

Curious as to what their titles will be after the marriage? We were too! [Source]

Harry and Meghan will wed this coming Spring 2018 at Windsor Castle.
