Dress – Aritzia
The best part about living south of San Francisco (1 hour to be exact) is this carefree ability to throw on one item of clothing and walk out the door. You don’t need a purse if you can carry your wallet. In the summertime, don’t even think about inconveniencing yourself by holding onto a light sweater or jacket. I still remember this Sunday evening like it was yesterday. Elynn, Michael and I were trying out the new Korean BBQ restaurant in Cupertino, but without the whole BBQ part of it. The food was just okay. The natural light outside though? Perfection. I know you all might be thinking that this is a different kind of photo for me. I realize it too. Enough of my own friends saw it on Instagram and said the same thing. This actually reminds me of this one time where a close friend of mine told me that she preferred photos of mine in which I smiled. Those were the ones that she “liked” or rather gave the “hearts” too. I like smiling too! But sometimes a smile just won’t do. It’s not appropriate for the backdrop or my surroundings and that’s why we get photos like these. I hope someday I’ll have a photo in the future that has lights and shadows as good as this one right here.
